Behind-the-scenes images always seem to spark interest. There’s a lot that goes into the final images you see in films, documentaries, or even corporate video work. Below are a couple of quick samples from a recent shoot at Miles & Stockbridge in Washington DC. This particular location featured some beautiful city backdrops with lots of natural daylight. The trick in these situations is to match the color temperatures but also manage the exposure of the background relative to the subject’s face. Easier said than done in some cases, but when that balance is spot on the results can be impressive.
