Foundation Digital Media Wins Bronze Telly Award
Woohoo! We were recognized Saturday evening with a Bronze Telly Award for a promotional campaign we produced for the City of Laurel, Maryland. It was a four part promo and featured local businesses, area landmarks and really focused on the sense of “community” that prevails throughout Laurel.
The production occurred last summer, in stifling heat and had roughly 12 location set-ups. Local store fronts including historical societies, butcher shops and of course City Hall were all used as backdrops.
Individually you might walk past any of the establishments and not think twice. However, when viewed collectively it certainly shines a light on the thriving business community that Laurel has. From a production stand point it was a relatively small crew (DP, CA and Grip). We incorporated a few crane shots and cinema sliders to bring as much cinematic quality to the shoot as possible.
What Are The Telly Awards?
The Telly Awards is a premier award recognizing the best video productions, online video and individual crafts. Each year over 12,000 entrants compete for top honors in their respective fields. The Telly is one of the most coveted awards in the video and film industry. The recognition is bestowed on large firms, small agencies and individual freelance DP and editors. We’re thrilled to be recognized (as is our client) for the work.
